Hi All, For anyone who's interested, I just started my first blog where I'm writing about my experiences in therapy. Honestly, right now, I'm raiding a lot of my writing on the forum for material to get it going. I'm pretty excited as I've never done anything like this before (as well as terrified that I'll land splat on my face and make an idiot of myself. Hey AG. Thanks for this. I'll look forward to reading it. Having a blog can be so useful. I write in my blog very often, about therapy experiences and how I feel as well as other general things. I find it interesting to look back on my previous entries and see the patterns of moods etc. I hope you enjoy posting in yours. Thanks for posting the link AG, lol I’ve already been and had a read before you put this post up. I’m impressed! I hope you can keep it up regularly as you always explain things so clearly and are a goldmine of really useful info and advice on therapy, I shall certainly be following your blog. Good one! Hi Forgetmenot, Thanks for the encouragement. I have always found writing to be a very effective tool, both in posting here on the forum and when I was going regularly to therapy, I kept handwritten journals. When I was confused, I often found that writing about it could help me to understand what was going on. Now that I'm not seeing my therapist regularly (his door is open and I call when I need an appointment which lately has been running at about 4-6 week intervals) I think this blog will give me a chance to both reflect on the healing and continue to integrate what I have learned into my life. I don't think I would ever have attempted this even just a few years ago. DF, Thanks again for all the encouragement and believing I could do this. And it's really good to have such a safe place to share it. LL, Whoa, you are quick girl! I'm flattered. Thank you so much for saying you'll follow it. I am hoping that what I write will prove helpful to people. I also want to thank everyone who didn't reply but went on to read the blog. BTW, if anyone has a particular topic or question they'd like me to write about (AG shamelessly trolls for blog ideas AGThis message has been edited. Ooh, very neat.. I love the name, too! Thanks for sharing! “We're never so vulnerable than when we trust someone – but paradoxically, if we cannot trust, neither can we find love or joy.” – Walter Anderson

Awesome AG! I will be a regular for sure!! River "There is an eternal landscape, a geography of the soul; we search for its outlines all our lives." ~~Josephine Hart

Very cool AG! I wish you lots of luck with it. And I'll be sure to follow it also. As someone said up above, you always explain things in such a clear way. A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: "Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time." When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, "The one I feed the most."

Thanks for sharing the link to your blog, AG. I love your list of book recommendations. I intend on going to the library today (after being housebound for weeks-- woohoo!)

Kashley, So glad you like the name, I have to give credit to Strummergirl for the original nickname of Boundary Ninja and to DF for adding the "Tales" part. I am very grateful to both of them, as I must confess, I found the name very fitting. Hi River!! It's is wonderful to hear from you, I am delighted that you will be reading! Thank you. Liese, Thanks so much for the well wishes, I am happy to hear about yet another reader. HIC, So glad you found the list useful! As I said, I really really should be getting a commission for General Theory of Love. I hope you enjoy it, it played a significant part in my healing. Broken, OK there's something I never expected to hear, someone adding me to Goggle reader. That is just amazing, thank you! Beebs, Love to know you're going to be around!! Somedays, Thanks so much! I hope that your T knows this stuff also. I have tried and tried to get the Boundary Ninja to write a book for other therapist, but alas, no luck so far. BG, Thanks, hope you like it! Thank you all again, it really means so much to be met with so much support! AG ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end."
