I wanted to post a link to this poem on youtube that my daughter showed me from a To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) event at House of Blues. The poet is a two time national SLAM poetry champion. It was incredibly powerful and expressed something that I am in the midst of learning and talked deeply about with my T on Tuesday morning struggling so hard to put the feelings into words, because the feelings moved on such a deep, inchoate level. Then I came home and my daughter showed me this. I sent it to my T. Smiler I found it so moving that I wanted to share it here.

Wow AG,
Thanks for that.
Some of his other poems are quite trembling as well.

That was beautiful, AG, it had me in tears. I had to listen to it a few times to get everything. It is amazing. Thank you for sharing it!

You guys are more than welcome, I'm really glad you found it so powerful too.

Helle, I definitely agree, I tracked down more of his stuff on youtube, the man is a true artist.

SG, I listened to it again just before I posted it and heard stuff I didn't hear the first two times, so I know how you feel. Smiler

I usually would just ignore looking at something like that. For whatever reason, I decided to click on the link and see what it was about.
I am soooo glad I did. This is amazing and I agree with others who wrote that every time I play it I hear something new, something to think about. Thanks AG, As usual you share the most awesome things.
