Need a distraction? Need a laugh? Need something to keep you from contacting T (that would be me!!!). Stop by this thread for some distraction and fun or ideas to help keep you distracted.

I stopped by Redbox and got two more movies to watch. The funny thing is that I think I might have seen one of them, but I don't think it was me that was up front and saw it. It is so distantly familiar and someone inside said we saw it, but I thought...oh well...wasn't me! Razzer I'm going to watch Going the Distance and Like Dandelion Dust.

Anyone else? Plans, distractions, a funny joke?

Okay, I thought of something. Deepfried posted in the Friday Fun thread about Zotz candy. I haven't had those in forever! So, it made me think about candy. What are your favorites?

Clearly Peeps are on my list. I also love those gummy soda bottles, sour patch everything but especially the watermelon ones. Real black licorice is another favorite.

I love rootbeer barrels and those rootbeer bottle caps. They are yummy. Trying to watch that movie with Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford, what was the name?

A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner:

"Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time."

When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, "The one I feed the most."

Well, my 2.5-year-old is an occupation on her own and I'm watching my nephew (eight months) tonight too. So, being distracted might be a bad idea. Wink Getting myself addicted to a show and then watching it on Netflix, episode after episode, is usually what I do. I rewatched Heroes and went back and saw all Veronica Mars that way. Smiler Need to find new shows I want to watch.

Fun thread Smiler

Favorite candy right now is Hot Tamales (the "fire" kind, in the black box). Going through WAY too many of them. Also really like chewy spree or sweet tarts. Pixie stix too.

I agree with not understanding the dots. The little shreds of paper that stick to them don't taste good either.

Distraction tonight is watching Yogi Bear with my family. I used to play Zuma too, not the blitz kind on Facebook, but the full version on PopCap. Also Zuma's Revenge. Now I'm into Farmville and wish I'd never started. Takes too much time away from things I need to be doing in "Reality-ville".

Liese: Morning Glory is the name of the movie. I really liked it!

Yeah, I don't get dots either. They always end up with paper stuck to them which is icky. Razzer

LG, I'm a FB addict too. I haven't tried Zuma. I don't usually play games on there. I'll have to check it out!

SG, we cross-posted!

Yes, I love hot tamales and have serious addiction to those as well!! Might have to make a run for those later although my recent filling seems to be telling me to lay off the candy. Roll Eyes

My H is a Bejeweled addict. He routinely has the highest score of any of my FB friends. I've tried a few games on FB (Bejeweled, Diner Dash--which I had tried on yahoo). I haven't really found one that can keep my attention for an extended period.

No no no... you're not looking at this the right way... you just need to brush more - ALWAYS the same amount of candy. Never limit the candy.

My main distraction right now has been working… when I accomplish something with my job I can practically hear my T saying “I’m so proud of you!” My other distraction (and obsession) has been LUSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love lush!!! Going to the lush store, or taking a nice long lush bath, or just smelling my lush goodies! And sharing my Lush with boyfriend of course Smiler

How the heck do you guys eat all this candy and not be crazed sleep deprived zombies?!!?!? I could never do it!!!!!

This is why I eat the candy!! I'm already a crazed sleep deprived zombie. The candy is how I get through the waking hours...and the caffeine. I've tried both ways, it makes no difference at night but it does in terms of staying up during the day!

I've never tried Lush. I've heard a lot about it though. I'm always afraid I'll get a UTI from it. Silly, but I worry about these things. Roll Eyes
