Sorry, such a silly little thing for an entire new message thread.

so what does FOO stand for?

I looked online but Google came up with Java stuff and things like Flight Office Operations.

I've seen it mentioned everywhere. Unless your all undercover Foo Fighters fans. If so, can I get some free tickets?

Oh no! Hold on...Family of Origin!?

And SU? Suicidal Urges?

I didn't know where to ask!? Lol.

FOO stands for Family of Origin.

While we're talking about this, I want to know what CofC stands for.

According to Google CofC is; College of Charleston.

I think Google might be wrong.

In fact, I'm quite confident Google is wrong this time.

Google you are wrong.

These are very reasonable questions. Smiler You forget after a while that you needed to learn these at one point.

SU - refers to suicidal urges
SI - self injury
AF - attachment figure
T - therapist
P - psychiatrist or psychologist

Alcapa,
I think, think mind you, that CofC stands for Circle of ? Care (not completely sure about the "f". It's a name all the folks who post on the Another Countdown thread coined as a name for the group. I was going to try and locate where it originated but that thread is up to 36 pages! Eeker Hopefully someone else will pop in with the explanation. Smiler

AG

Thanks AG. Smiler

And of course I guess that 'H' means Husband, as I've seen H quite a few times.

Oh FMN,
That's another I forgot "DH" is dear husband and "DW" is dear wife. The D comes and goes depending on how I'm feeling that day. Big Grin

Ah ha, thanks AG. Smiler I had seen those pop up a few times. I usually skimmed through them but I did sometimes think 'DW' ?, does that mean 'Don't worry', but in certain sentences it never made sense lol. 'DW was not great today' or such etc

OOoh good one FMN I kept meaning to ask about FOO. Yay!

CofC - wasn't that JMB's T that coined that phrase? It's cute. I like hanging out in the Another Countdown thread.

My mum had a habit of putting LOL at the end of every message. I don't think she knew what it meant. Although it can mean 'lots of love' as well as 'laugh out loud'. I construed it as 'laugh out loud' which made the endings of text conversations a bit strange sometimes. Lol.
