I have been missing in action for a few months but am back now.

Does anyone know how Hummingbird is doing? Does she still post? I went back to re-read one of her old posts but it appears they have all been deleted. Is she gone from this site now?

I was just wondering this yesterday myself, but I don't know the answer. She was posting here not that long ago - I remember her posting around Christmas time, at least.

HB has left the site due to her privacy being violated by a family member who observed her using the website and possibly figured out her psuedonym. In order to protect her privacy she has removed all her posts and ceased any new posting. It should be possible to reach her by PM although she is without Internet access for the next month.
It was a very difficult and painful decision for her but she felt it was the right thing to do. I would have done the same. This is deeply painful because I understand what a huge loss this is for our community.

Oh my god, that's awful that her privacy was violated by one of her own family members.

And from a completely selfish point of view, I am so SAD that her posts are all gone. She had written some amazing things.

I would search through her posts (and yours AG!) to see what her thoughts were on various topics, how she analysed them and to refer to them when I needed hope and inspiration. I'm gutted they are gone.

This is a huge loss for our community.

I'm really sad for both HB and us. I wish we could have had the chance to say bye, but I understand.

It doesn't seem that I can PM her, so AG, if you're still in contact with her, please let her know that I miss hearing from her, and that I hope she is well.

I'm so sad her privacy was violated, and I wish the person who violated her knew how many lives he/she has affected. I'm angry and sad, but mostly, I just miss HB and her ability to reach out to us for support when she needed it. What a sad, sad experience all the way around.
