Hello All!
I’m no great communicator at the best of times and all of a sudden there are so many forums and threads and posts and so many of you that I'd just love to keep in touch with!! However it's just not possible to respond to and give input to all of you!!

So, this thread is just to say I'll do my best to post, keep in touch and encourage as much as possible but know it will not cover all threads!!

Please, 'no-one' feel you have been left out or ignored (that kills me personally, believe me!)

I'll read about your lives that have become so much a part of mine and give when able.

Having said that – the Easter holidays are around the corner when more time will be available to speak!!

Many hugs
M

PS: no need to respond just wanted to get this message out there!

(((((((( Morgs )))))))

I'm probably stating the obvious here but no-one expects anyone to post to everything - and especially now that there are so many new sub forums with specific topics. But I get how you must be feeling, sometimes I've wanted to say hey sorry I just can't keep up with everything, just to let people know I am thinking of them but maybe don't have anything useful or helpful to say, maybe just don't relate to the situations some people are in... Lol in fact I've only been able to do my current posting frenzy because T has been away, as of tomorrow no doubt I will be too preoccupied with the crap that comes up with my own therapy to be as present as I have been.

Thank you for being so considerate Morgs!

LL

By the way, how are the kookaburras? I miss the bird song in the mornings in Oz, it has a unique sound that makes me think of cool refreshing early mornings before the heat of the day sets in... *Sigh* even though it's early summer over here it doesn't have the same 'we're on holiday' feel as the summers in Oz.

Believe me LL - 'considerate' with others yes - but when I'm hurt, overreacting to anything, I spit the dummy and run away with the pain!! have done this a few times from the forum but 'trying' hard to be the very adult person my age says 'should' be!!

Ah! not so many Kookaburras where I live - even though it's in the country, but the birds, especially magpies (my favourites), butcherbirds, wrens, even the sparrows, are just heavenly when you have time to lie back and listen (over the dog snoring!!).

LL, thank you!

I like "my" chitchat forum Big Grin

Well, I'm still on some sort of break, I'm avoiding a lot of threads (sorry!) and still can't keep up.
But I think that's okay. Nobody expects us to.

Dearest Morgs,
Thanks for saying what a lot of us have been feeling. I don't think anyone here would be capable of keeping up with all the threads and forums anymore, and in some ways, maybe that can be good thing because it relieves the guilt that so many of us feel about that- when it is simply not possible, then we will be forced to post whenever able, or want to- and just hope like heck someone is around who is in a place to be able to help when a person is in serious need-
((((((Morgs))))) I too wish it was possible to support every single person who comes here much more than I am sometimes able to. You are all my friends, and I care about you.

Thanks dear Morgs for giving us a place to say that with you!

hugs,

BB

Count me in! Yes, I'd like to write on so many threads, but I guess I have this all or nothing feeling about it - especially with all these new forums. I often feel guilty for posting on some threads and not others since I also want to offer support to everyone. So I just don't post. I'm trying to not do that, even if it's just with this thread. Morgs,

I totally understand. It is difficult to keep up and I feel badly that I don't respond to everybody's threads.

Hello friends
I really didn't expect responses but it appears the thread has provided an outlet for others also, so that's really good!!

You all have a good Easter or holiday or whatever is applicable to you!!
Hugs
Morgs

Question.
I understand you akk, I really do.
But I wonder why this is so difficult on the forum for some people (again, no judgment, I sometimes feel the same way).
I mean, if you are somewhere with different groups of people, you don't feel the need to go around and talk to everyone, right? You just stay where you feel most comfortable. You might be going around and say hi and listen in for a minute but you stay at one place for a while, right? Or is that just me?
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you don't need to feel guilty if you can't be at all places at once. It's not possible in real life and it isn't here, either.

Hi PF,

I think it also really involves the nature of what we talk about here. It's supporting people while they are going through difficult spots in their lives rather than talking about the weather. I think I would feel just as guilty if I were in person with different groups of people and the talk was similar to what we talk about here.

Yeah, I agree with you Kashley- it's because what we talk about is so deep, and because so many people are in distress, and because we understand the distress and need of support since we are in the same place ourselves. That being said- I think Frosty has the right approach- we should all very naturally do what we feel like doing and are able to do and not feel guilty about that. One of the benefits of having so many posters here, is that at some point everyone eventually (hopefully) gets support from someone. When I was deleting stuff from way back, there Frowner I did notice only a couple of threads from newcomers or irregular posters that had gone unresponded to, and I felt bad for those people, even though I knew it was circumstances that caused it and not neglect. It's just life- it can't be controlled really but I think we all feel bad when that happens. It kinda sucks. But- it's amazing that doesn't happen more often on an open forum like this, it really is. A testament to the care that people show one another. Smiler
