BB,
That is really awesome, and I totally agree with Monte, it was a huge leap for you to ask that question and I LOVE that your T was humble enough to admit his responsibility. We often got such unclear messages when we were kids and/or outright lying about reality, so it's really important that our Ts be honest with us so we can learn to trust our perceptions. I'm so glad that it's made such a difference for you.

Thank you AG..yeah it was really hard to work up my courage to ask that, but he made it easier by just being so nice about whatever I said, that it was possible to ask. And you are right, it is such a relief, to feel that my perceptions weren't mistaken. I had thought for months that I was going crazy, I just couldn't figure out what was going on...because one time he would be reallynice, and another time he would back off, it seemed like- and I was really confused, thought I was doing something wrong, shouldn't still be in therapy and stuff like that. It was kind of really agonizing. Now I begin to feel the freedom to talk to him, say what is on my mind is all it really is- but such a relief. Thansk for your support...it is so extremely nice to have you back among us, AG...

Dear BB -

I'm SO delighted and relieved to read about this, and wonderfully proud of you. You worked so hard to communicate, persist, communicate and persist to get to this point. Joy for you.

thanks BB, nice to see you too. I got 'stuff' going on, but I loved popping in after being away and seeing this great news.
