It was like an uncapping of a shook up bottle of cola. The cap was depression, and the bubbles were the fear I felt, mixed with anger. With the occasional recapping of denial ,distract, and detach, I was permitted to feel it all.

Cola represented the dark abyss one searches through for the answers, and questions needed to make sense of the past, and where I stood in the present.

There was no turning back once that cap was released.

It was the beginning of an end to depression.
