Has anyone ever gone from lost dose Valium to dose Ativan?
Did you experience any effects?

No wonder no one has responded to my question..
I sound like an idiot. Must have been rushing, sorry. What I meant was has anyone been switched from a low dose of valium to an equal low dose of Ativan? My P said I could just switch and no need to taper as they were very similar drugs. So far I feel OK, but I was on the valium for several years.

Lizzygirl, you don't sound like an idiot! I got your question just fine, a typo's just a typo - only problem is I just don't have any experience with this. Hope you are going ok with the transition. Take care.

Lizzygirl I don't have experience with any meds either and can't help with this. I took Ativan once when I was anxious about a medical procedurer with no ill effects and I'm very sensitive to medication. I would follow your doctors advice. I'm glad to hear that you are not experiencing any problems.

Sorry, I don't have experience with that either. You don't sound like an idiot though! I knew exactly what you meant.

I just got an rx today for Xanax. I might end up taking on tonight. Not sure. I also got Lunesta, but I'm a bit nervous about it.

i've been on lunesta for two years, love it, surely am addicted, but sleep is so essential. expensive, last time pharmacist suggested a generic for ambien, but i thought i'd check in out first.

i take it like an m and m...now the abilify, hold the horses on that one, i may need it, i do think it cleared my thinking a bit, could have been placebo, but the headache was excruciating.

lunesta for me was an easy yes, but i guess it depends on how you are sleeping without it?? i would wake up early and ruminate til dawn....not good

--i must thank my mother, as, without her, i would not be on this site--
