I can't remember the thread or who recommended "The Mindful Path" but I have been reading it for the past 2 weeks and finding it helpful. I've been reading it right before bed and it's helped calm me before going to sleep - focusing my thoughts on the positive aspects of my life.

The idea of possibly changing my brain chemistry through the exercises in the book is very appealing!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Summer

Hi Summer - This sounds like something I could use. I will check it out. Thanks! (And I think it was Echo who mentioned it a while back - thank you too, Echo!)

I'm glad it's helpful to you! Big Grin I haven't actually read the book; I just know of it from reading excerpts on the author's website, as well as some other articles he's written.

Right now I'm reading (and working through with my P) The Mindfulness and Acceptance Workbook for Depression by Strosahl and Robinson. It's really good! Maybe I'll start a new thread about it...
