hi everyone. just a quick question. i wonder if i should call my T for some reassurance about a HUGE decision i have made. he's been out for a few weeks and my next appt is not for a couple more weeks. thing is, this decision i've made has to be finalized in 3 days. i hate to call him when he's off, but i'd really like to hear him tell me it'll be ok. childish, huh??

AJB-I think you should call. I look at it this way, if you leave him a message to call you and he returns your call it's because he made time to do so. But be very clear as to what you want to hear. I've made the mistake of not being clear enough and my T missed what I "thought" I had communicated.

And no, I don't think it's childish.

BTW: Nice to see you around AJB. I've missed you. Hope all is well and that huge decision will be a positive thing.

thanks for the reply. i've been around. i've been reading the posts, just haven't really had the energy to reply. i was very touched by what you wrote about your mom. i'm so sorry for your loss. i can relate as i lost mine too, but her death was very sudden and unexpected. this is a very hard time of year for me, too. i hope you can work through it with your T.
