OOPS...sorry Holly...

I see that you did add that one already...just through facebook. I don't use my facebook account very much so I must have overlooked it.

I love The ONION!!! Did you see the one about Sony's new POS? LMAO.....

I have a Sony laptop...it was the coolest thing ever...until the warranty expired. A week after (one year warranty) the motherboard fried and I was totally screwed out of $2000 Eeker
All of my dogs baby pictures are still on that hard drive!!! I'm still fuming over it and my dog is 6 years old now. arrrrghhhh!!!! Mad

Anyway...I still have the laptop....maybe I can yank out the hard drive and recover some of my music and pics...I dunno... *shrug*

Hi SD

I haven't seen the one about Sony's POS. I'll have to pop in to see it. 'The Onion'is SO funny, I love it too.

Sony huh! Should'a got a Dell! LOL My Dell won't die! I want a new one so I can upgrade but my partner won't let me spend the money till this one dies (or at least has an issue that would cost more to fix than it's worth). It's 4 years old now - top of the line then .. and bottom of the heap now, yet it keeps on keepin on! Damn it!

You can definately get the hard drive out of you laptop and rescue all of the stuff you had on it. I can get you some details if you need to know more on how to do it. Lemme know. Oh, when did your warranty expire? Let me tell you a story .. we have a Brother 5in1 machine, it calfed off about a month after the warranty. My partner was choked and wrote a very well written complaint to Brother (stating how she was tired of these companies making products that are only meant to last the warranty time so that peope are forced to continue purchasing products and thus adding things to the landfills that will never breakdown) and they replaced the dead unit with a refurbished one free of charge. SO that's somethign to consider too Smiler

Anywho .. TTYL Smiler

Sony's POS was funny! But yet .. oddly TRUE! I better knock on wood I have a PS3 and I don't want it to become a POS in revenge of my comment.

That's funny Holly. Hope you don't mind, I thought it'd be a nice addition to a page I'm working on. I've linked to it here: Politics of Psychiatry.

And thanks for Despondex. I loved it. I posted it on Questioning Medications a while back. Check out the cartoons I posted there (from Mike Adams).
