I regularly read Burgo's blog, and yet, I was surprised by how "real" this felt to me. Care, empathy, encouragement all come through very clearly. I usually bolt from self-help "exercises," and this book contains them. I didn't jump into them immediately, but I read them, and I might even be willing to go back and actually do them. I think this was a really good book from someone who really gets what it's like to continually fight off pain.
I'd be interested in what others think.
