Hollow - is there a distress centre number you can call in your area? It really sounds like things are feeling way too overwhelming and desperate for you right now. I'm very sorry you're going thru this. It's best not to do it alone and having a voice at the other end of the line might help.

Keep posting here, even if it only helps just a tad to get the words out and for others to "hear" you.

The Kid
hi, Hollow Smiler
i'm glad to see you back with an update on your session. good for you for writing down what you wanted to discuss. so many times i've had things that i needed to talk about, and didn't. over time it did help to bring in written words to help me get things out. so, it comes down to doing what feels most comfortable for you and getting your needs met. it sounds like he was very responsive in a good way, and i'm glad his presence was strong, we need that in our Ts. you're right ... therapy can be very confusing!!!

try not to be ashamed of your feelings toward him. i know it's alot easier said than done. and please try to even discuss them with him, as this is really pretty crucial to the success of therapy. talk about what you're feeling in therapy, that is pivotal. and quite frankly, therapy brings alot of stuff up that we don't think we're there to think about. it all fair play in therapy and is best to talk about it with your T. it's hard, but it's critical for therapy to be successful.

keep writing those notes if it helps. thanks for the update and keep posting, we're here for you
