I was thinking of mailing it anonymously to my T...
Hi Draggers, this is a very good article and exactly what i have been working through with my therapist. RabbitEars, don't post anonymously...just print it off, take it to her and tell her that certain things ring true for you and you would like to go over those things with her...which is exactly what you would like to do....this would be a really good way for you to approach the attachment/trust issues you have been not sure about.
Hi Have Courage,
Thanks for the encouragement. It's sooo complicated Could I PM you for a private session?

Yes of course you can...but how does that work? Where would i look on this site to pick up a private message? Not too sure how all this works, but if you can just tell me then certainly PM me.
on my screen, there are little tabs or buttons at the top of the thread: Go, New, Find, etc. and if you have a PM, there will be a little button that says "New PM!"
Thanks, HC
Thanks, HC
Hi Guys,
I am totally clear that you have only good intentions and it may be that you are unaware, but the guidelines prohibit discussing PMing on the open forum.
See Our Mission for a complete list.
Sorry if I am overstepping but I have seen people get really hurt by this in the past and it seems to be something that consistently pops up as we get new members. If you want to PM someone, you should PM them to ask. The only reason PMs should be discussed on OF is if you are offering to everyone in the case of a post where you believe that anyone might be more comfortable providing feedback in private. This does not exclude anyone since the offer is open to everyone. Thanks.
(((Draggers))) Thanks so much for the article. Painful as I saw so much of myself reflected but very useful for putting things in perspective.
And this is me disappearing again... sorry for the flyby.
Edited to add: Held in Courage I have read several of your posts and have very much appreciated your input, RE is right that you have a lot of good insight.

Oops. Sorry! I had no idea.
Sorry, everyone.
