Deepfried- lol - you crack me up Big Grin

-i read into this wish of yours- to dress up: - to make an impression on your T somehow..maybe shock her? bring in some humor into the therapy-room??

I dont WANNA imagine my T in any costume...lol. no way. i am glad we dont celebrate halloween over here, because i would totally freak out if i thought it was expected of me to turn up at my T`s office all dressed up... HAHAHA. THIS IS TOO FUNNY.

..i think no T`s would dress up, really... that would be unprofesional. and would totally ruin every chance for the client to bring up something SERIOUS. Can you imagine tryin to talk about something hard stuff, as your T sits there in a animal-costume? Big Grin nope. i think your fantasy are spinning here DF. But i would be really interested to hear if your T actually have a hat or something on, to mark the halloween day..

DF: do you seriously consider this as something that can happen- or are you just playing out with a fantasy?

if i HAD to dress up, i would totally go in there in a frog-costyme. And pretend like nothings going on. lol.
Yea Draggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back my friend, so so good to see you here again Smiler Wink Big Grin Smiler Wink Big Grin

Deepfried you are hilarious, go on I dare you to do that next session....only if you give us lots of detail about your costume and what her reaction is Big Grin But don't be shocked if she does likewise to you one day....could you keep equally calm??!!!!

If I had to guess, my T would be dressed up like a hippie. I just imagine that in his prior life (young and college bound), that he leaned toward hippie big time. I am about as far from hippie as you can get, but I am starting to really appreciate and see the beauty of the "hippie" mentality. That is probably a huge stereotype in my own mind, but the freeness (is that even a word?) of hippie-dom is what I have come to realize that maybe I've been searching for my entire "non-hippie" life. Anyway..this little blurt just took on a mind of it's own...sorry for the side track...

Yes, my T...definately a Hippie for Halloween and I would imagine that he would hand out some natural type treat like granola or tofu!
hee,hee.."tofu dessert" is actually one of the treats I am going to be "switching" my boy's candy for...among other things...(allergies)

Hm, my T dressed up, what a funny thought! I think he would probably be some intellectual type character or musician maybe, or something like that. I'd say Gandalf the Grey, but he already looks kinda like that, all he would really need is the robe and pointy hat. Roll Eyes Big Grin

.....if my T were to dress up I actually think it would worry me...especially if I had no warning. It depends on the costume, but I find it hard when I can't see someone's face or expresssion, it unsettles me a bit. Sigh.

.....But maybe there are exceptions, the thought of Deepfried hoping her mail carrier might be dressed as an owl just cracks me up Big Grin

All I can see my T in...is a dominatrix outfit! No...she would never wear a costume to work but it is fun to think about. Wink

I suppose that says that I feel somewhat powerless in my therapy, eh? hmmmm....

My costume would be something like Pinocchio or the Velveteen Rabbit. I just want to be REAL, which is really paradoxical on Halloween. *chuckling* I feel so twisted at times.

Funny thread...brings up lots of interesting images, lots of transference material. Hmmmm...like I need any help with that! NOT...
