"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in
one pretty and preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside,
thoroughtly used up, worn out, shouting GERONIMO!!"

My MIL sent this to me years ago. She loved the quote so much that we actually used it on her prayer card for her funeral and my daughter and I actually made counted cross-stitches of the quote for my husband and his two brothers. This is a quote I very much want to be true about me.

Cool thread idea. Smiler

Just wanted to let you know AG that I knew of this quote for quite a few years and I have always thought of YOU whenever I come across it.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. it's about learning how to dance in the rain..." - vivian greene (My T has this one in her office!)

"The shell must break before the bird can fly..." - tennyson

"I don’t want to wait anymore. I choose to believe that there is nothing more sacred or profound than this day… The big moments are the daily, tiny moments of courage and forgiveness and hope that we grab on to and extend to one another...The life you’ve been waiting for is happening all around you."~ S.
