As for your question, I agree with Draggers' take on it. Big Grin When your T said you looked "great", I don't think he meant that he thought it was great that you were feeling sad, or that puffy eyes look good on you. And from what you described, I don't think he meant it sarcastically. I think what he meant was that you took a huge step in your progress by allowing yourself to be "seen" when you were vulnerable. My T used to say my tears were "beautiful" and would encourage me NOT to cover up my face when I would cry - that's how much she valued that mask falling away. Not that it only fell away when I cried, but it was one of those times. So anyway, I think your T sounds pretty amazing. But like Draggers said, I hope you can talk about how you felt about this at your next session so you can be sure about how he meant everything. Smiler
