I probably would have done the same thing, Draggers. Because like, what if she judges me for what I'm buying or looking at? What if it's awkward? Blah blah blah...

You made me laugh about using her toilet, too. I do use T's bathroom but if I get there early I have to walk past her door to get to the bathroom, and I always pray that she's in session still so I don't have to bump into her in the hallway.
Ditto, would hbave done the same thing for the same reason. My T once had lunch plans and he was parked on a side street near the exit for my parking spot (unnoticeable until too late). Not only did I get to look like a stalker who was waiting to see what his post-session plans were, but he saw me stuffing my face with trail mix as I hadn't eaten all day and didn't want to pass out on my 45 minute drive home.

Luckily, my T is almost never out and about near his workplaces, lives 2.5 hours away (not worried about randomly seeing him). Also, thankfully his bathrooms are in office building/multi-suite hallways not actually in the office. It's the only good thing about his sharing an office with so many other Ts and being in medium and large office buildings. After driving 45 minutes and with long sessions, that would be hell!
I live in a smaller city and see my T outside of sessions once every week or two. Usually he waves, when he doesn't I'm crushed and spend hours trying to figure out why.
Even though it happens pretty often, there are still plenty of times I duck around a corner to avoid him. Maybe it's just not wanting to think about what we were dealing with in the last session. Definitely NOT insane, Draggers!
Ok, I have had a few beers and when I read this - I got stuck on the wombat brains bit.

I am not sure that Aussie Wombats are dumb. The wombat thing threw me and maybe the alcohol has picked my brain and altered my judgement but I didn't take in much of the rest of your post Draggers.

Totally get the way you reacted! Sounds normal to me.
oooh, I'd have done the same thing! I actually went to a function the other night and was terrified to go because I know that it is the same social circle that T is in, and I did NOT want to run into her! I made sure to arrive on time, and stayed only long enough to be polite before leaving, just in case T arrived later on!
