Hi All,
I heard briefly from TN via cell phone. Her family is doing fine but the power is out. She said it was a very stormy night, but no trees down and just two minor links. They have a battery radio and cell phones and that's it. They don't know when the power is coming back on, but she's all stocked up. I told her I would let everyone know.

As for us in Syracuse, we are experiencing a slightly more windy than usual normal rainy day, so things are good this far inland (about 4 hours).

We lost our power at 8:10 this morning. We've heard it could be 4 -5 days. I'm trying to save the food in the fridge. Thank God my mother has power and she only lives 1 mile away. Our wires here seem to be very fragile. Lots of trees down everywhere. But darn it, not on my kitchen.

I'm at H's office, which has electric and internet service.

AG - thanks for letting us know how TN is doing. Glad to know things are OK, excepting the outages.

Liese - Sorry about the wires...and the kitchen...but glad everything is OK and you have access to someone with power close by. How are the streets? Do you think you'll be able to go to T?

Phew!!! Glad to know all is okay apart from power and trees down!!! It could have been so much worse!!
