For some time now I have been reading the discussions here, and today I decided it's time to join in. But, before I do I would like to introduce myself.
I'm a 24-year old female, uni graduate; I traveled around the world, am currently unemployed, and have been in treatment for about 20 months (10 months of which I was abroad and thus not actually in therapy).
I have been diagnosed with a personality disorder, and through schema therapy (J. Young)my T and I are trying to get me to believe in myself more.
When I'm not thinking about therapy (which seems to be a fulltime job nowadays, does anyone else feel like that too?), I am a keen photographer and writer.
Well, that seems like more than enough for an introduction! That was the easy bit... next: opening up about what is really bothering me therapy-wise...
Looking forward to joining the discussions!
Cheers,
Mayflower
