this was the second time I saw this particular pain consultant for the nerve damage I have. He was rude from the moment I walked in.He seemed to delight in belittling me and being inappropriate - mocking my own views, telling me I am foolish for not taking the high dose anti convulsants that would stop this pain (and sedate me daily) and not listening to what I wanted. He was arrogant and opinionated, unpleasant and bullying.

I cried. From about the third minute. I soon realised that it was utterly pointless disclosing anything about what I thought or wanted and just agreed to whatever he said, took the prescription and will of course never ever take the pills. Stupid man.

My husband was stunned. He was dumb struck. When we got out, he said "that man was so IN APPROPRIATE and arrogant, he didn't even listen to you, worse he mocked you!"

I am so glad I did not go on my own as I would have come out reeling, in tears, traumatised and unable to drive home. As it was my husband and I spent a while laughing at awful he was and my husband drove me home.

urghhh
