I was reading more about being present in the moment and was thinking about this in the context of dissociation especialy with traumatic material....

I know there are grounding techniques for being back presence of mind and some people can prevent dissociation in seeking mindfullness ... i know i can.. sometimes... but more often than not, my mind goes on mind/head trips....

just how do people maintain presence.... be mindful if it feels like their brain just hijacks itself off to one place or another??
