Can the thread be removed that was started by CoutureGirl?

I understand that it upset many and I am wondering if that would be the best thing. I am not sure if anything can be gleaned from that post.

If the intent of CG's posts were not genuine in her approach of trying to understand as opposed to judging, that is really disheartening.

Although I would like to believe the best, it is questionable. I chose to share because I thought it would be good for her to understand from those of us who have suffered severe trauma as a child. As we know, many of our responses to others in our adult lives mirror our reactions from when we were younger.

If the thread can not be removed, could someone please tell me how to delete the comments I personally made?
