I think clients and therapists need a sense of humour!
Fortunately there are enough out there on both sides, as reflected by the number of therapists as well as clients who subscribe to the blog!

Hi WG and welcome! So glad you showed up to say hi! I found your site because Jung at Heart posted a link. I loved your stuff and must admit to having compulsively reading through all of them. I love both your insight into the process and your sense of humor. I actually sent a couple to my T (ok technically ex-T, I finished up (!) about two weeks ago). My favorite was the Attunement one. My T has a large collection of novelty socks, as well as being really good at attunement, so I felt like I had to send it along. I also subscribed to your feed. Thanks again!

Trade secret: the socks one was my T's idea because of my recent penchant for stripy socks. I called it attunement because in suggesting this she was "getting" me.
Plus, rainbow socks make the world a better place.

Hi WG! Welcome to the forum. I just have to say I really enjoyed your cartoons. I spent a while last night looking through them and laughed so hard my sides hurt. I needed a good laugh, as this week has been especially tough. Thanks for taking the time to bring some great humor to therapy. It's wonderful!!

Its seriously the funniest thing i have seen! - i too sat 2 hours yesterday going through the cartoons and cracked up, i think i know whats my next gift to my T (a buch of your cartoons printed out)- we dont even do gifts- but if one is to be given, this is the perfect gift!
SO..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! PS: if you need any inspiration besides your own therapy, this forum has PLENTY with potensial!
