Ah I forgot the smileys I've linked to don't have a forum code. Ok here goes trying to explain how to do smileys (with thanks to Cat who explained it to me in the first place.)

Pick your smiley picture and right click on it, choose 'copy image location'. Paste it into your post and it will look like this

http://www.messengerfreak.com/.../christmas/67675.gif (that's the link for the reindeer one I used above). Edited to add: it won't look blue and like a link, it will just look like a string of letters.

To get the picture to work you need to add [img] at the beginning and [/img] at the end, so that it looks like this

[img](space)http://www.messengerfreak.com/emoticons/christmas/67675.gif[/img]

but without the '(space)' which I've put in so it shows the code rather than the picture. Just tack [img] onto the beginning, and [/img] at the end with no spaces.

And you should get this

Yeah, on the right click there was no copy image location, so I had to look elsewhere, not to be beaten by this!!

Any luck yet Lampers? Yes it is Adobe Flash Player; but I'm only guessing that's what's needed. The daft thing is; I can run that link on the work pc but not download animated emoticons!! Technology baffles me sometimes.
