My post 'Back to Black' only got one response. Is that because I'm too intense? Or was it disappointing to read about my anger, just the day after my 'experiment'? Just asking, as I am new here and maybe there are 'rules' I don't know about yet. Plus, I'm learning it's better to ask than to guess or assume. love
I feel your pain. It triggers me badly, especially when I post about feeling unheard, and get no/few answer because "haha, that proves my point, I am unworthy of attention or care".
But as the others said, you are not too intense, it's 'just' how forums work.
Yes, to everything everyone says here! I don't comment often, but some posts leave me in a reflective space that's just a bit beyond words - and perhaps some posts are just like that, they leave everyone musing. Also sometimes a post will feel like a quiet, private space to me. I'm glad to have been able to share it as a witness, but I feel that if I speak there it might disturb something....
I get frustrated when I want to respond or share something, but I feel inadequate and what I do write and post it then seems insignificant and sometimes unanswered so the vicious circle starts again. It’s not about those of you who articulate informative and heartfelt posts on here it’s about me!
