I just got aphone call from my sisters housekeeper asking if the beds were already done after our holidays (which they were... we used our own sheets!). i told my sister not to hire the housekeeper as we'd do our own cleaning, and did't want to have to pay for a h/kr as my sister said we would have to pay. We cleaned up crazy before we left... there was a note explaining a lot of things in the house (like where to turn off the water if there's a flood) as well it mentioned to leave $70 for the housekeeper... I ignored that part as we told her NOT to hire the h/kr! Now I'm not sure what to do... should I phone and tell the h/kr we didn't leave her money, should I leave it up to my sister to figure it out, or what? Things like this make me insane with my sister!!!

Robin,
I don't think you should pay for the maid. You told your sister you didn't need the housekeeper and you left the house in really good shape. It was HER decision to hire the housekeeper, so its HER bill to pay. And I'd leave it alone, something tells me the housekeeper won't be shy about saying she wasn't paid. I can see where your sister makes you insane! Big Grin

Robin,
I'm really glad to hear that, 'cause I really don't think you should have had to pay either, but its also nice to know you can stop tiptoeing around (at least about this Smiler ) How much longer is your T on vacation? You have my sympathy, its always a tough time. Is August like the official vacation month for Ts or what? It seems like everyone's has been gone lately.

our T is back this week. thank goodness! it's been very crazy around here.

hubbie and host had a big fight the other night... it was all we could do inside to hold Scott out of it... and the littles cried (and it did leak out actually). I don't think hubbie was clued in enough to figure that out though.

Did you know we are going to meet Shrinklady next week?

Antoni
