I believe what we are all witnessing here is the mother of all enactments. Everyone is playing out the role they have always played out since childhood. Same movie. Different actors. The same people are getting hurt in the same ways they always do. The same bystanders are jumping in in an attempt to be helpful.

It is true that some people have more power than others. I think it's also true that sometimes people don't realize how much power they have and instead might actually FEEL powerless and in an attempt to feel less powerless exert their power and hurt others unintentionally.

And then, some people really don't have much power. That's just a truth. Maybe some don't mind being powerless but others have always felt powerless and resented it and have continued to replay this dynamic over and over again by entangling with those with power and getting crushed over and over again.

My point here is, what I would love to see is for everyone to take a look at what role they are playing. It's all the object relations stuff.

I know everyone here has a good heart. Every relationship is co-created. Let's make this a place where everyone feels safe and respected.
