Please keep my oldest sister in your prayers. She has been living with her boyfriend and his family. They have a six-month-old and she's pregnant again. He got violent with her when he had a reaction to anxiety meds during her last pregnancy. He's not on meds at all right now and he shoved her today and ran out. She started packing to leave, broke something accidentally, and his mom came in and knocked her over while she was holding the baby (both minor injuries, but shaken). She's moving back down and she'll probably be staying in my living room. She stays here pretty often and we had another family from church do so most of last year (no, I really do not have boundaries), so not a big deal. Her boyfriend hasn't come back with the car, so she's stuck there for now. I am pretty much the "therapist" of my family, so I'm detaching in order to be there for her. Hoping that doesn't derail what I want to accomplish in my session tomorrow, but her situation really is a bigger priority! Anyway, if you pray, I'd appreciate you keeping her in your prayers. Thanks!

Thanks, my sister seems to be doing really well. My nephew is a bit traumatized, stuck to his Mom. I have to watch him five hours tonight and he screams if she even hands him to me for a few minutes. I have been his major caregiver outside of her, but he's just freaked out.

I'm struggling to process my own stuff with people around all the time (I can deal with people sometimes, but am introverted enough I definitely need alone time to recharge and my sister is very extroverted). So, I'm really praying I have it in me to be there like I am needed and that God recharges me, so when I do have time to myself, I have the energy to process my own stuff and be good to myself about it. Smiler
