forum formatting questions

Hi

I would appreciate any input anyone might have on these two things I have run into.

- When I PM someone else, I always get a "new PM" message at the top, and even when I go to the length of opening my own pm that I already sent (to someone else) it still says new pm at the top. Is this just me?

- How do I add a picture to a post if all I have is the website for the picture? I keep doing it wrong on here.

Thanks for putting up with my technology slip-ups.

I have definitely experienced having the "New PM" tab show up because I have posted a new PM or responded to a PM, but my actually clicking on and opening my recent posts usually clears that up. I'm not sure why it's persisting even after you open the posts. Sorry I can't be of more help.

As far as posting a picture that you only have the website for, go to the page and right click on the desired graphic and select "Copy Image Location" from the pop-up menu which appears. Then in your post, click on the Image button at the top of the reply window, click in the Image URL entry box, then press ctrl-V. This should paste the image location you copied previously and the image should appear in your post.
BTW, I am assuming a PC system. If you are on a MAC I'm not sure if you'd get the same pop-up menu for the image. Hope that helps.
