1. If you could have any superhero powers, what would you choose?

Invisibility. For sure!

2. If you could do any non-therapy activity with your T for a day, what would you choose to do?

I would probably choose to spend the day gardening with her (at her house because she has tons of plants...and then she can come help me do mine) because she seems to know a ton about it and I don't, but wish I was better at it. Plus, I know it is something that makes her really happy and I feel comfort when she seems happy.

3. If you could go anywhere for a week and money is no issue, where would you go and what would you do?

I would go somewhere near the ocean. Probably a private beach house with a private chef so I wouldn't have to cook or anything like that.

4. Favorite song(s)

Oh gosh, I pretty much love all music except country and really heavy metal. Right now, I'm liking those Natasha Bedingfield songs that I posted.

5. What's in your purse?

Not much. Credit/debit cards, some cash, medical card, lipgloss and hand sanitizer and meds.
1. If you could have any superhero powers, what would you choose?
Invisibility or perhaps self-duplication (projecting another me for people to interact with, so I could go rest).

This is hard. Can I take a weekend and go camping with him? Sit around the campfire, roast hotdogs and marshmallows, tell stories, discuss the miracles of nature. Oh, and he'd bring his guitar and give me a lesson (I only play a little) and we'd sing together around the campfire. I am taking the whole weekend, I don't care that you only gave me a day!

3. If you could go anywhere for a week and money is no issue, where would you go and what would you do?
Japan, because I majored in Japanese, but never visited. Now, obviously, I would volunteer to help in any way that I could. But, imagining the earthquake and tsunami never happened, I would love to visit the cultural and historical sites I studied about.

This really just depends on my mood. There are way too many. The one that popped into my head right now was "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own," by U2 off of "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb." For a spiritual angle, I've been listening to, "When the Rain Comes," by Third Day a lot. I love the guitar in it.

5. What's in your purse?
In my slight OCD, I always check about three times and repeat, "Wallet, phone, keys." before I leave the house. Those things, at minimum, are always in there. I usually also have a mini mag light, a brush, my checkbook/register, some feminine supplies, chapstick or makeup (which I wear about two days a year, so perhaps I should take it out), and some hairties/clips for my daughter. It sounds like a lot, but it all fits into a very small purse, because my mom and grandma always carried huge purses and I found it humiliating to watch them rummage around them as a kid.

LOL, I know we are all saying invisibility and I hate to be unoriginal, but hell yes that is what I would choose!!

2. If you could do any non-therapy activity with your T for a day, what would you choose to do?

With T1, I would love to travel to some far off city with her and spend the day walking around seeing the sights, grabbing a bite to eat on a patio someplace with a nice view, share a bottle of wine, and then go hear some live music together. (and then go home and cuddle together, lol).

With T2, I cannot think of anything I'd rather do with her than therapy.

3. If you could go anywhere for a week and money is no issue, where would you go and what would you do?

T1's house. I'd clean and organize, plant some beautiful flowers in her garden, paint her walls, accessorize her house, hang beautiful window treatments, buy new furniture for her, redesign her kitchen and bathrooms, etc.

1. What if I don’t want to be a superhero?

2. Maybe hang out at a bar or party? Just chill and chat about normal friend type stuff.

Oh that sounds lovely, STRM. Can I come with?!

Absolutely!! Why don't we have a Psych Cafe get together at the beach. We can all line up hand in hand and simultaneously toss all of our problems into the ocean and yell "screw you PTSD, T issues, attachment problems, life problems, suicidal thoughts etc."

And then we can eat ice cream and peeps. Sound good? Big Grin
1. My superhero power would be to fly. I used to have the most amazing dreams when I was kid about being able to fly and can still feel the poignant sadness each time I would wake and realize I couldn't really fly. It was such an incredible feeling.

2. If I could spend a day with my T, I would want to go out on his sailboat for the day. I LOVE to sail. Being on a sailboat is a place where I feel very grounded and very clearly myself and often experience a deep sense of joy. To be able to have all that and be with my T would be utterly wonderful. And I'd bring a couple of bottles of red wine, loosen him up and get him to spill his life story. Anything else the wine led to would of course, not be intended. Big Grin

3. If you could go anywhere for a week and money is no issue, where would you go and what would you do? No brainer. I would rent a villa in the hills outside of Florence Italy and spend the week looking at great art, great architecture and shopping. We spent part of a day in Florence on a Mediterranean cruise and I fell in love with the city. It's so beautiful and because the Medici's ruled there duing the renaissance has an incredible collection of the some of the world's most famous art, including Michangelo's David which literally took my breath away. And on a much more low brow level, Italian men are NOT hard on the eyes. Big Grin

4. There is NO way I can pick favorite songs! I have very eclectic taste in music with the exception of grunge, and rap. My favorites are probably the blues and celtic music. Recently I have been listening to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a Hawaiian singer that I am just loving. That and Michael Buble's most recent album (I'm also very big on the Swingin' Standards).

5. To quote DF, what's not in my purse? Ipod, earbuds, Kindle, wallet, checkbook, lip gloss, brush, mints, various receipts and debris of my life, car keys, pen, Advil, tampons, cell phone, headset for cell phone. You get the idea. No wonder it takes forever for me to find anything! I am currently in the big purse part of my cycle. I get a big purse and dump eveything in it but have to search and search to find everything which I eventually get so frustrated with, I go get a small purse. I am happy for awhile until I get frustrated that I can't fit enough in it and I return to a big purse. Wash, rinse, repeat. Big Grin
