Does anyone have a hard time when it comes to your colleagues leaving to go home to their families, leaving you alone once again? It's like a switch gets flipped Friday afternoons that causes a panic attack almost every time. I don't know if it's because I have severe and extreme abandonment issues from being orphaned at an early age or that I'm tired of living alone - or both or something else entirely. Does it feel like the end of the world every week? Yes. Is it? No. Does it take me a few days to get my equilibrium back early the following week? Yes. I don't have much time to recover in between and some weeks are worse than others, even when I have things planned after work Friday and on the weekends. I just want this trigger to go away.

(((TK))) i'm not where you are yet, but it's on the very near horizon. i feel for you.

can you get involved in some volunteer activities to get out of the house and "have plans" for the weekend? are you familiar with meet-up? if not, i highly recommend you google it. i've done a few things with meet-up and it's really a wonderful community .... thing. look it up and if you can't find it let me know. i'll be happy to help you ... assuming you're in the US, but i actually think it's a world-wide deal. weekends don't have to be such the trigger they are, i don't think. take care ((((TK))))
