Help!I asked him if he would like anything from india when I go and he said..

... he felt uncomfortable asking but he likes things made of India metal work.

I have no idea what this is????

Can someone please tell me as I SOOOOOO want to get him something nice. I promised it would only be a few dollars in worth, as I don't want to embarrass him. I was really touched that he actually revealed something he liked.

but now we have to work out WHAT this is? LOL

No - I said to him:

"I am going to be buying you something small from india ( I did last year - a cloth book cover) but I would rather it was something you might actually like or want, not something that I like. I know it is weird, but could you give me a little hint of something you would actually like otherwise I shall just buy something random and you might not like it and I would prefer it to be something you like. "

that is when he rather awkwardly admitted that he likes India metal work. But he then added "you must not spent much money on it!" and I said that I had a picture in my head of me coming back from India and pointing out the therapy window, to a large Indian painted truck with painted metal work.... and saying "WIll that do?" LOL He had to laugh.
