The book was on transference/counter transference, when the professional crosses the line (or something like that). I believe it was a male author.

After reading (and re-reading) all the threads related to transference on these boards, I came across the book, but failed to note the title/author at the time and now I am having a difficult time relocating where I found it.

Can someone help please? Thanks so much.

Hi Azure,
I wasn't sure if I could find it using that description but have two suggestions. The first, and forgive me if you already realized this, is did you check the Book Forum? That is not the only place that books are mentioned, but there are a lot of books in that thread, including threads where people ask for book recommendations and get a lot of suggestions from other members.

The second would be to do an advanced search and hunt for posts which contain all three words "transference" "countertransference" and "book." If you click on the brown Find button that appears at the top of a forum page, below the entry for "Keyword Search" is a link for "Advanced Search." Click on that link then enter the three words in the "with all of the words" entry (first one on the page). That might narrow down your search.

Thanks for the link to the book forum AG...I'll start looking there too. I've already tried the advanced search as you suggested, but as of yet, cannot locate the book, but I am going to keep trying.

I also tried Amazon RT, and haven't found it yet, but then again, when I searched it came up with 100+ pages, so I need to keep hunting--or refine my search!

On the upside, I am learning how to navigate the boards better and in the process, I keep stumbling upon more and more valuable information, which is great Smiler.

Thanks again AG and RT for your suggestions.
