It's great that you are fired you up to address your issues head on this week. 50 minutes does really stink, doesn't it? Good luck with finals!!! Where are you, btw? It's a strange time of year for finals where I am.

Good luck, Athenacus! I hear you on the 50 minute thing, too. Sometimes I feel like I could talk. . . oh, all afternoon maybe, before I could even begin to do certain topics justice. Maybe someday I'll ask T about scheduling a triple session. :P

Liese-I'm in the US. I'm taking summer T training classes for graduate school. They cram a semester worth of learning into 6 weeks of classes (classes are held two days a week-each class is a bit over 3 hours long). So, I have finals for my two classes the last week of summer school.

Heldincompassion-I would love to have a triple session w/my T too! I hope someday that comes true for you!

I had my session this week. It went fairly well. Since it had been 3 weeks since the last one it was like we had to play catch up (get re-aquainted) for the first 10 minutes. Then I started on a few things not totally deep, but deeper than chit chat. I didn't get to the deep stuff until we were close to done. ugh.
I told T I was trying to decide if I wanted to share certain things or not. She asked why I felt like I couldn't share. I said it was due to time and due to subject matter being difficult for me to talk about. I only touched on a few areas about family and then we wrapped up the session. Our therapeutic relationship was at a good level though today. She was stable and I felt rather safe.

I didn't let out any feelings or get to the stranger csa story or the weird flashbacks that I've been having that are scaring the shit out of me. Why couldn't I get to that?
Maybe next time (2 to 3 weeks) depending on my work schedule.
