Just wanted to say hi. We are still without power but hopefully will get it back tomorrow. The kids discovered the wifi password at my Mom's house and so here I am.
It's been tough, today especially, but a lot of people have it a lot worse so I really shouldn't complain. The kids should go back to school on Wednesday.

Liese... I'm glad to hear your update. I know how hard it is to be with kids in a cold, dark house but we are lucky that we HAVE our houses and they are dry. So many in other places are so much worse off. I could see and feel the trauma of those poor people. I do hope they have counselors and T's on the ground to help those who need it.

8 days, 3 hours and 40 minutes later I have power. I'm totally stressed and exhausted and might not be around much (famous last words!) but thanks as always for the support and thoughts.
Hope you are all hanging in there. I've been thinking about everyone and hoping you all are doing okay. I haven't had a chance to read much so I'm going to do some catch up reading now.

It feels so sad to think about all of those victims who are stuck in the sandy hurricane and are unable to help themselves to get out of there. my sincere apologies for all those people.
