This is just for fun and I was curious to know what other people preferred. I went away for the week-end and stayed in a lovely B&B but once again I couldn't sleep coz the bed was so soft. You know those bouncy soft kind of beds - they look so inviting (I suppose?). Everyone else I know seems to love them but I really can't sleep on them, and was so happy to come home to my firm mattress. So just for fun and for interest what are your preferences and favourites on these things:

Yay! I love to answer these! I'll do the caps thing like you did, that really helped to see the difference between question and answer.

1. Beds - soft or firm or other preference
FIRM - I ACTUALLY SLEEP ON THE FLOOR A LOT (if I'm petting my cat or something and laying down I might just passout... I passout at yoga too... or if I can't sleep I lay on the floor)

2. Pillows - one, two, lots

YES - BUT IT'S NOT HOW I LIKE TO SLEEP... WHATEVER IS ON WILL MAKE IT IN TO MY DREAMS SOMETIMES

PURPLE

FIRM - (husband would prefer soft - he had a water bed when we first got together. It was awful for me! He is much larger than I am so he was the low point in the bed and I slept all night on a slant!)

OK so far firm beds are a "firm" favourite Big Grin so why then do so many places I stay have soft beds?

(((Cat))) looks like you must pay too much for accommodation - all you need is a floor Big Grin also you said sometimes what's on TV will make it to you dreams....you could work with that Cat....I don't know which strikingly hot actor does it for you....just saying Big Grin

(((Draggers))) That's so cool that you have some of your T's perfume to dab on yourself when you're feeling down! Smiler

(((Outsider))) You don't have a TV! Wow! You're the first person I know that must have a computer and internet (otherwise you wouldn't be on here) and a young child and not have a TV. You don't like TV? Can't say I watch it much either but my family does. Still I like watching it here and there.

(((Jillann))) Water beds must be the pits! I can only imagine the constant movement - if one person moves the whole bed moves and sleeping on a slant would kill me too. That's why I hated the soft bed this week-end. H lies next to me, he's heavier and I feel like I'm on a hill so I told him to move away to the other side of the bed. Was wondering aren't water beds cold or do they have heating? Forgot about rubicks cubes - love those too. Smiler

Been having a bad few days so sorry for the delay in replying Debbye, Rebuilding Me and Armored Heart.

(((Debbye))) Love the smell of baby powder too and the smell of babies as they just come out of the bath - its just gorgeously beautiful! Thanks for making me think of that Smiler

2. One good posture support pillow to sleep on and a couple to cuddle up with
3. I can, I don't mind it but I prefer to sleep in the dark quiet with the rain pouring on the roof
4. My son's hair, my husbands embrace; vanilla scent

6. Not a big perfume person but I like Angel
7. Can I say mountains by the ocean?
8. Lego, reading, swing rides, Sound of Music
9. The closest I got was Mary Poppins, fairytales were banned in our house
