I can't resist asking one thing, though, because I am just a little bit curious...when you say your T suggested it, did they actually suggest this forum? It's totally okay if you don't want to answer that, of course...it just made me wonder if word of this forum is getting "around" or something. That would be kind of cool.

And may I too admit to curiosity about whether your T specifically recommended this forum or just finding a forum for support? Either way, I think it's awesome that your T is open to you getting support and input from other places, that's usually a sign of a secure T who puts your needs first.
