Ah well I think you're asking me about my user
nane on here. I chose that since my therapist
diagnosed Avoidant Personality Disorder as my
main issue. I guess if I'm becoming less avoidant
I should think about changing it soon

I'm from the American south and am a stay at home mom to a couple young children. My main hobbies are reading and various hand crafts. I also enjoy board games, hanging out on this forum, and obsessing about my therapist.

P.S. Awesome about the power yoga by the way, I know that's really challenging!

Aprilk, i have two teenage girls, one is a freshman in college and the other a junior in high school. i work full time and have a part-time job as well, so i don't have a ton of spare time for hobbies, etc.. i like hanging out with the kids, i try to get out and walk as much as i can year-round, and i love to bike and putz around the yard in the summer. for the holidays this year i am going to pick up some evergreens and put a pretty wreath together. my very first job was making Christmas wreaths, so i'm interesting in seeing the outcome of this little project. again, welcome to the forum!

Glad you found the site and hope that it helps you. There are a lot of really lovely supportive people on here. Funny how 10-15yrs ago the world used to raise their eye brows at establishing relationships over the internet. Today even though I may have raised my own eye brows at times I see the value in on-line relationships, and it's more than I ever thought possible. There is something "freeing" about being able to express yourself in annonymous surroundings.

So my hobbies and interests include photography, painting, writing, poetry, sports, travel, fishing and ALWAYS the beach.

I live in the USA. I am a divorced/single mom of two children. I work part time. I also started graduate school to become a therapist within the last year. I recently ended my 2.5 year relationship with my first therapist. I still miss her. I have a new counselor now. I am learning a lot from my new T, but I don't click with her the way I clicked with my previous T.

My hobbies are singing with my church choir, Zumba fitness, sometimes yoga, volunteering with community organizations, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
