Like pinocchio said
A real person

But here I am stuck
Being 14 in the old body
Of a 44 year old
This isn't real

I want to have
A real friend
I want to share
My real thoughts
I want to say what I want
When I want

But I can't

I am stuck
Being 14 in a 44 year old body

I am stuck
Being told over and over
be careful, be discrete, be quiet now

I want to be real
Really real
I want to be me

Hi Samy...

I love Pinocchio too...one of my "little" boys is totally enchanted with "the blue fairy." And wishes, more than anything, to be a "real" boy.

Have you seen the movie A.I. (Artificial Intelligence?) If not...you should see that one.

Love the poem...keep writing...
