Well, no, but you can borrow my tiara.
It would have taken all I had to put the kid in the car. I probably would have found it hard not to tell her to sit tight and be quiet - or bribe her with sweets.
It so tough - we end up as unwitting and unwilling caretakers and the injustice of it all is a real kicker.
I loved the description though, even though it was sad.
