Over the last couple of months I've had a number of people ask about the privacy of Private Messenging so I thought a post on it might be useful. The only information available to someone with Admin privileges (and they would need to be a super admin) is the Subject line, the name of the member who started the PM and the date the last reply was posted. It is NOT possible for anyone other than the author and invited members to actually read a PM thread. The only exception is if someone involved in the thread reported a problem in a Private Message thread. This has NEVER happened on the forum, but I wanted to be completely thorough.

If anyone has any other questions about PMing, feel free to post here or if you prefer contact me using a PM. Smiler If you do ask a question, please be sure not to talk about PMing specific members to stay within forum guidelines. Thanks.
