Well Im excited because I got my ears pierced for the first time ever! YAY..

It HURT a lot more than I expected... Ive had a lot of needles in my life and that gun thing really was painful to me but after it went numb and havn't felt anything as of yet...

I got titanium aquamarine studs to wear for the first 6 weeks. I got some little butterfly studs (big shock) to wear after for the 6 months you have to do for them to stay.... sheesh...

it's VERY hard for me to manipulate the things with my fingers.. Im amazed..... earings arent arthritis friendly! lol...

anyways, it ws fun... loved it.. im very happy and excited about this...

Im finding the small studs hard to deal with in relation to my arthrtiis but i figure other people with this dang disease do it so i should be able to. I dont have major hand issues but the recent ones really are irritating with the smallness.... urgh

so far, no infection thouhg !! Smiler NO pain in them. somw swelling and itchiness but i just clean clean clean... LOL.... 3 times a day as they said and not touching them otherwise unless something feels off...

Yeah, I remember getting my ears pierced. Big decision back in those days. Kids never had their ears pierced. You had to wait til you were an adult. It was one of those things that made life simpler...didn't have to wear earings that pinched my ears....didn't lose them.

I was a tomboy and it gave me that feeling of being feminine. Very nice...like I was all growed up!

its funny.. ive never been into dolls.... being girlie all that much.... i do like dresses but dont care about make-up, earings, my hair....

but now im trying to change my style I suppose so my hair is cut short and been wearing ti down... now got the piercings.... im pretty sure i will get another one in each lobe once i find out if im allergic or not...

im very happy with having them done finally at the age of 30... lol.... better late than never..
