Somehow my appointment was scheduled 4 whole weeks ahead. I was just getting into strong transference and had a terrible time waiting. But when appointment day came, it was clear that the therapist never noticed so much time had transpired. I've pulled way back on Transference and can't help reacting to the rude awakening that I'm the last thing on her mind. I know how important transference is! Do you think I can recover from this?

(((skylynx))) I'm sorry T didn't notice how much time had passed, that is really painful Frowner I believe with any hurt feelings in therapy, being able to recover from it depends on how much communication there can be going forward. Sometimes the hurt, if it's discussed honestly and openly, can lead to a healing experience. I hope you will be able to discuss with T if you feel comfortable
