Are they always going to be so hard? T's off next week and today she mentioned the break next week, immediately my back was up, I dont want to talk about the breaks I just want to get on and deal with them by myself the best way I can, now I;m left feeling incredible pain and anger about them. How do others manage? and have they got easier? I've been with my therapist for 7yrs and they are still difficult.

ohhh, I feel really bad, you never got a response to this, Freud. (Welcome btw, I'm BB) I can't really give a lot of input because breaks are not in my experience since I go a good while between appointments compared to many. But I know a lot of people on here find them incredibly difficult. I'm sorry it's so difficult for you. I'm assuming by now, your break is over, since this was posted so long ago. I just happened to be scrolling through and noticed this had no replies, and I know that must have really sucked. Sometimes posts just go missing, I guess, I don't know why it happens. I hope you are doing ok and will post again.

Take care,

Hi Fly
Sorry your message got stuck somewhere and you've had no input until now!! Frowner The breaks for most of us are difficult - my appts are usually 2 weekly so just manage and they're definitely harder for some than others coz we're all so different! I understand that being told of an upcoming break upsets you and I don't want to be provocative, but how would you feel if she didn't warn you before a break?? IDK but I think that would be worse Eeker
Take care and let us know how you are.
