Good thread frosty

I'm starting slimming world (again!) on Tues so ive been cooking most of the afternoon. Got a pile of meals ready so i have no excuse to cheat on my diet

I'm getting sick. Trying to take care of little Boo, keep the house relatively clean and get some shopping done, none-the-less.

Boo is doing really well with potty training today. Yay! We're doing a low pressure approach, so it's awesome to see her just be into it on her own.

I want to take a nap, but I'm literally too tired to get up from my couch and walk to my bedroom to do it. H is being noisy on his game, so I can't sleep on the couch. Just paralyzed here on the couch. And my toes are cold!

Went to take a nap and a little earthquake ruined it. Oh well, I was having more weird dreams anyway. It was small, but noisy. Startled me. It's been a while. I think today is the anniversary of the 1906 quake...

I just took a wonderful bath with the new Lush Easter candy egg..... mmmmm it smells ammaaaziiinngggg!!! I definitely recommend it!

My husband got a job today after 2 years of unemployment- Yeah!!!!!

Anyone have a street party in the UK? We did, but I was at work so missed it....I've always fancied going to one too. Will have to wait next time for Harry to get married I suppose!

LOL DF and Mayo, I lived in Hoboken NJ for awhile and they told you not to kill the roaches 'cause their cousins would come for the funeral and never leave.

And DF, I have a horrible sexist confession of my own to make. I handle most bugs really well but for some reason spiders kind of freak me out and my friend in the next office, so we actually call a guy in the office whose a friend of ours to handle any spiders. I am SO ashamed to admit this but it's true.

Um, yeah...bugs are OK (no huge ones here), but spiders are H's job for sure. The only time I will deal with them is when he's on a business trip and the thought of them getting on me while I sleep is much more scary than having to get rid of them myself. I used to catch them in a plastic plate and cup and throw both outside and just leave them until the next morning. I was afraid of any squishing at all. I once had a spider jump onto my chest when I was trying to get it with some TP, so I'm pretty jumpy about spiders.

I hope no one lives in the rain forest. There is a "chicken eating spider" there; a newly discovered tpe of tranchula.

We live in "tick central" lyme disease is too common here.

What!!!! That spider must have one very wide mouth ....gosh, up til now I thought I could say I was reasonably ok with spiders too

No- just a very deadly poison, with large fangs to inject it. ... and they prefer chickens.

I used to want to visit the rain forest, but no longer. They also have Bullet ants. ... and snakes that live in trees- eeewwwwwwwwww!

Gosh, Mayo you don't imagine chickens in the rain forest Once went on a jungle walk on holiday with a guide, he suddenly stopped and just parted this bush and there was a fat green snake. As my husband was photographing it I asked if it was poisonous - oh yes, he said, very! We didn't hang around ....hmmmm if I knew how to put in photos here I could show you....
