Does your Therapist ever say anything about the Treatment Plan they have for you as a client?

I ask because I have been on a break and informed the Therapist I wanted to take another month off. He said, "This needs to be discussed face to face as this is a big change in the treatment plan."

Is there really a treatment plan? As a client, I see it as me coming in one time a week to therapy.

It's amazing how different the client's perspective and the Therapist's can be about the very same thing.

No; I don't have a treatment plan as such either.
T and I work on the most urgent things week by
week; although every few months we'll have a
session where we will review progress and agree
verbally the things to address in future sessions.

Is a written treatment plan a requirement of
the health insurance companies in some countries?
