For now, maybe you don't have to tell Old T? People probably take breaks all the time and then don't go back. Then again, it's great to leave the door open. You never know, you might go back to him at some point. Even just for a consultation.

I'm glad new T was gentle and understanding. It must have been hard. You are NOT bad.

Thank you Smiler to both of you for your words.

((Liese)) It was really special both over the phone and our session yesterday. I thank you for your idea on waiting. I told him I was taking Jan and Feb off so maybe by March
Ill be ready. Thank you for adding the reassurance I am not bad. I think somewhere I know that.

((Exploring)) Thank you for sharing your experience. I am starting to wonder if he wonders. He only sent mea short email in response.

Thank you. It is actually more the process that is tough. I just got to the point where I can only afford one financially and mentally. Beliefs about certain things matter to me, and I am more matched with new T that way.
Old t's "aloofness" lately made the decision easier. He has higher paying clients, so Im sure it does not really matter to him.

New T has taken me at where I am at instead of insisting I be where he wants me to be. I need that.

I hope old T is not too upset. He did try the I'll be here comment but it was kinda too late.
