So, group therapy today included my telling everybody about myself, my dad, how I felt like making myself small and unnoticeable most of the time, and how I'd noticed much of this during group therapy. And how I was pretty much playing the "How Not to be Seen" (h/t Monty Python) game in group therapy.

So I'm feeling pretty awesome right now. Y'know, when it goes really well? Yeah. It's like that. They got it, pretty much, and Tfella seemed really happy with me, which was more than enough to send me home giddy.

Y'know, when it goes really well? What're you like when it goes well?

Wynne,
That is SO awesome! That took a lot of guts to talk about that in group, you should be really proud of yourself. It's even better that it worked out so well and everyone responded as they did. There's nothing like the feeling of when it goes well.

For me, it's a feeling that I'm much lighter, that everything is easier, I feel more confident, but I especially feel more present. Life is suddenly filled with exciting opportunities instead of unknown dangers. And everything is a little brighter, a little sharper and more immediate. No fog around me. A feeling of "yes, this is what it's supposed to be like." Enjoy it, you deserve it and you earned it through your hard work.
